Finscan is an Australian company founded in early 2008 specialising in biometric engine ignition controllers, keyless cabin entry readers and AC/DC power control systems for the marine market.

BIO ESTART – SOLO / DUO / TRIO

Suitable for petrol and diesel inboard and outboard engine installations, the keyless technology will ensure safe, stylish and reliable engine starting without a key in sight.

Suitable for single, twin, triple and quad engine installations, with or without integrated blower control and fume detection, these fingerprint ignition controllers provide simple touch start and stop operation.

Plug and play engine harnesses offer simple installation for 12v and 24v DC voltages and are compatible with Volvo Penta IPS & EVC, Mercury SmartCraft, Caterpillar, MAN, Cummins, Scania and many other engines.

The fingerprint controller has a capacity of recording 1000 templates and two remotes are included with every system. The ‘Master’ remote allows new operator fingers to be programmed, whilst the ‘Valet’ remote bypasses the fingerprint operation but does not allow any programming. This allows the valet remote to be used by an engineer, marina staff or yacht broker when required


BIO ELOCK

The Bio eLock range of wired or wireless readers will allow easy access to any boat, motoryacht or superyacht with style, and "WITHOUT A KEY" in sight.

The Bio eLock range can operate wireless, so installation is very easy. The wireless fingerprint reader can be located near the cabin entry point, and the receiver located near the entry locking point. The wireless reader can be up to 30 meters away from the receiver, and simply needs 12v DC power supplied to operate.

One of the main features of the Bio eLock is that one reader can wirelessly operate multiple receiver controllers in multiple locations. So one touch of the reader can perform multiple functions in multiple locations.

Connection to the Bio ePower product is also possible to also enable power control and Battery Isolation / Enabling with the one touch when gaining access to the motoryacht's cabin.

IntelliCORE

IntelliCORE is a flexible, advanced system developed by FinScan for marine applications and can be simple one module performing intruder security to a complete power distribution and control system.

CAN bus communication between system components, integrated high amperage connection points and integrated micro circuit breakers on each module, allow AC / DC power distribution and control to be achieved efficiently with limited cabling to perform, saving time and money.

IntelliCORE will secure, switch, monitor and control various systems from one easy to use touchscreen. Supplied as a kit that includes everything you will need to perform an installation, including CANBUS cabling that clicks together to create the IntelliCORE network of add on modules.

Saving time and money on installation labour and materials, adds to the value of an IntelliCORE installation.
